The Ocean

The ocean is such an powerful place and force. I went to the Oregon coast this past weekend for a friends birthday party. The weather was perfect and the Pacific ocean was! I saw whales and seals. The beach was not crowded, the nights were clear and cool. With the sky overhead and the sea at my feet I felt very small and truly in awe. It is wonderful to think of the vastness of the ocean. It was a weekend I will remember for a long time. Great friends I love, good wine to drink, and the ocean, these are the joys of life.
