I'm sure by now many of you have seen the Winograd video that is making the rounds. I watched it and was fascinated by his technique on the streets, he just ignores everyone and his movements with the camera border on ADHD. What he says about his photography and his pictures is very interesting too, I like the statement that a picture is nothing but light on shape.
I also was reminded of the Joel Meyerowitz street photography video that made the rounds some time back. The contrast in styles is great. They seem to be polar opposites in presence and interaction with the street.
which is the greater artist, photographer? Which will leave the biggest impact? Which has the most beat up Leica?
