This is the Seattle Public Library, Main Branch, in Seattle, Washington.  It is a much lauded Rem koolhaas design and was open to rave reviews.  The ardor has cooled a bit as the design is found to be cold and hard to navigate.  It is still a big tourist draw here in the city, and on the whole, we are proud to have such a distinctive building here in the Northwest.
