Ranchos de Taos, Taos, New Mexico. I shot this in the mid 1970's, I think. It was shot with a Leica M4 using Tri-X. I was prompted to find my version by a posting on The Online Photographer by Mike Johnston about this church as a photo subject. I knew about the church as a photo subject and knew that I had shot it as well when I was much younger. The thrust of the article was about how photographers see their subject in the real environment. I found my black and white print and scanned it to post here. It is as I shot it then, complete with the infamous power line at the top. My chance to be in great photographic company.
